About PRACH
PRACH (Physical Random Access Channel) is used by UEs to initiate random access procedures for initial access, handover, and uplink synchronization.
Key parameters:
- Preamble format: Sequence length and duration
- Configuration index: Time-domain occasion pattern
- Root sequence: Zadoff-Chu sequence starting point
- Cyclic shift: Number of preambles per root
- Restricted set: For high-speed mobility
